American Futsal Academy youth soccer program focuses on integration futsal as a fundamental tool to develop essential soccer skills that include but not limited to ball control, passing, receiving, shooting/ finishing as well as physical, mental, and emotional development. Additionally, AFA gives a better understanding of tactical game in such components as goalkeeping, defending, and attacking. We use futsal as a key platform to prepare soccer players to succeed at the highest level.

We develop speed, ball control and ability to make the right decision quickly in limited space.

Our goal is to elevate soccers skills by playing futsal. The skills your child gains and decision making ability will help kids play better and succeed in their respective soccer clubs.

Our Coaches

General Manager and Coach EFA. He graduated from Futsal Academy “ Energia” (Lviv) in Ukraine in 2010. From 2008-2011 he played in the first league in Ukraine. Bronze medalist of Ukraine. In 2011, moved to USA where he actively acted in indoor soccer (New Jersey and Illinois). 2018-19 3rd place in National Futsal Premier league Champion NSL 2012 (best scorer) , 2014 (indoor soccer). 2nd in MSL Illinois 2015 3rd in MSL Illinois 2013 (outdoor soccer) Currently, AFA Tryzub player in NFPL (National Futsal Premier League)

Andrew Gavrylyshyn

Jose Maria Alonso Casado (Jose Alonso) received a bachelors in Business Administration from UPCT in Murcia, Spain, where he was born and raised. He played as a defender for his University futsal team and played as a semipro futsal player in Spain for over 6 years. He continued his education at NIU in Dekalb, Illinois and received a dual masters degree in Business and International Management to United Stated to continued his studies. Jose has a long background of coaching experience; from 2009 - 2017 he was coaching different Youth futsal elite teams in Spain (Polaris World), and also has coached various soccer youth teams. Currently, He is a Soccer Coach and strength and conditioning coach at Kishwaukee College Jose brings a different point of view to this team; He comes from a country where soccer is played completely different from the soccer that we can find here in the USA and wants to bring that knowledge and different outlook to our team. He feels that the basis for this sport is in the physical condition of the players, that's why he focuses on the conditioning training of the players of this team. Jose Alonso

Vasyl Skrylov 12/25/1986 Lviv, Ukraine. I started play soccer at the age of 7. While studying at a specialized soccer school I had a contract with FC Karpaty(Lviv). After graduation I played at the regional level. In 2009 I became a member of the professional futsal club AC “Energia”(Lviv) where I played for a one season in the High Ukrainian Division. After that was five seasons in futsal club AK “Lemberg” (First Ukrainian Division). Also during this period I played soccer in Ukraine and mainly in Lviv region where I won many team and individual awards on a semi-professional level. In 2018 I moved to the United States where I played for SC “Hammers” and AC “Schwaben”. At this moment I’m a futsal player in FC “Tryzub”. Coach at American Futsal Academy.

Vasyl Skrylov

Denis Bolotov is a Director of Operations and Coach at the American Futsal Academy. He started his career as a player and signed first professional contract with CSKA Moscow Futsal club at the age of 16.Two years after, he was transferred to Spartak Futsal Club.He moved to US when he was 21 and competed in NJCAA for two years playing for college in Chicago.He has a Bachelor's Degree in Information and Decision Sciences from UIC and Master's Degree in Sports Administration from Northwestern University. Denis has been providing private lessons for young talents who play in Chicago Fire, Sockers FC, FC United, and Schwaben AC for more than 6 years. Currently, AFA FC Tryzub player in NFPL (National Futsal Premier League).

Denis Bolotov

...CSAC Rookie of the Year. Second Team All-CSAC. Played in 16 games including 15 as a starter. Recorded eight points on three goals and two assists. Scored first collegiate goal in an overtime loss to Berkeley College (NJ) on September 15. Also scored in CSAC wins over Immaculata University and Clarks Summit University. Had assists against Clarks Summit and Gwynedd Mercy University. Credited with 34 shots on the season including 16 shots on goal.

High School...Team captain as a junior and senior. MVP for FC Miami United in 2015. Played for FC Dynamo Kiev Academy in Ukraine from 2005-2014. Won Ukranian Championships in 2013 and 2014. Finished third in Ukranian Championships in 2011 and 2011. Selected to Ukranian Youth National Team in 2011.
